Saints Chrysogonus and Anastasia

Icon
Provenance unknown

The Wikimedia page did not identify the source of this image, but it is clearly of recent origin.

St. Chrysogonus wears attire that identifies him as a Roman military officer: cape, cuirass, and feather-style ptergues skirt. Anastasia is pictured, as usual in Orthodox icons, with a medicine phial in her left hand and a hand cross in her right. The latter is the usual attribute of martyrs.
